John Cage - Water Walk. A rare piec of footage of a young John Cage performing the piece Water Walk on US TV show, “I have a secret”. The attitude of the presenter to the music is very interesting.
SynC now have a page on MySpace - www.myspace.com/syncsonic . But in reality if you have this blog on your RSS reader you will get it all here - music - gig listings etc.
Cheers
Garth

SynC are performing in the New York Electronic Arts Festival on June 4, 2007. The gig is being produced by EMF and is publicised here >>> EMF Productions: Electronics & Virtuosity

nicolaj kirisits at the University of Applied Arts, Vienna has collected online an excellent listing list
lots of good music to listen to in chronological order
The University of East Anglia has developed an excellent Sonic Arts Research Archive. If you look to the right side of the page you will see a list of artists - selecting people here presents a rich collection of references to works, scores etc
At De Montfort University, Professor Leigh Landy has been developing the ElectroAcoustic Resource Site which has an excellent range of information included in their index and a fabulous bibliography.
Both these sites make very valuable reading and are invaluable when undertaking research in this area. They even list some of my own papers

Columbia University has developed an excellent collection of references to Masterpiece’s of 20th-Century Multi-channel Tape Music. This link leads to the Denis Smalley work Vortex. There are some of the graphical score elements shown here and an interesting interview with the composer.

A short film about what the foley artist does, created by Vancouver Film School graduates of the VFS Sound Design program
Manipulating sound until it seemed to be something that existed in real space. This refers to playing back existing recordings through a speaker or speakers in real-world acoustic situations, and recording that playback with microphones so that the new recording takes on the acoustic characteristics of the place it was “re-recorded.” [via filmsound.org]
